This largely-native wildlife garden lovingly enfolds a storybook cottage. The owner, who spent years working as a gardener in England, was inspired to add cottage charm to the graceful oak terrace landscape by creating individualized spaces in themes: a shady refuge, a tête-à-tête seating area, a reclined-oak resting bench.  A separate guest room looks over salvias, callas and an incredible view of Point Lobos.
