This garden represents the golden era of historic Monterey featuring heirloom plants and cultivation techniques that were in use before 1865. The two-acre property houses four adobe structures, an orchard, a vegetable garden, and an extensive ornamental area with a large selection of heirloom roses and herbal plantings.  All of the plants have been extensively researched to ensure that they were available before 1865.
